Addendum to Road Trip

On our Sunday morning convoy back to T.O. (that’s what we used to call The Six, i.e. The 416 - as in area code for Toronto) from our Road Trip we saw a whole slew of Mennonite carriages presumably transporting the good rural folks of the region to a local church gathering. I could be wrong, maybe they were heading to a barn raising or casino?

In any case in addition to the usual black wagons there were an abundance of bicycles.

One in particular really stuck out. A teenager with his typical clothing including a straw hat was speeding along with a racing bike like you might see in the tour De France including ‘aero bars’ which he was resting his forearms on.

Quite odd!
