Get on the right side of history!

Maybe we are asking a bit too much of you, or too urgently, but we are asking never-the-less. We really don’t want you to lag behind - for your own sake.

Floating isn’t new. It’s not a clique or elitist activity. But it does feel like it’s at that point where one more drop of water, or splash of a floater, will cause the dam to burst and we don’t want you to be one of those who are washed away as the float riders pass you by smiling, laughing and hoisting their favourite bevy in a massive group cheer!

The momentum has been building for a while now and the crest of this wave is about to topple over. As the Beach Boys wrote and sang in 1963 “Catch a wave and you're sittin' on top of the world.” As every surfer knows if you don’t start paddling before it happens then you miss it.

We are quite happy the Kardashians have not taken to beerfloat as it appears their primary hobby is themselves. But we have knowledge of some other very prominent people who took to the water.

Mother Teresa was known to take the odd sunset float on the Hooghly River in Calcutta.

Ghandi preferred sunrise on the Ganges.

And finally, a floater of great consequence on Lake Galilee, who could turn water into beer. Well, every good brew master can do that with the right ingredients.
