The Perfect Coincidence by Corliss Buenavida

My daughter’s birthday is coming up very shortly so I thought; I better get out of town before she asks for my help.

Too late, I’m baking the cake.

The funny thing is, when I heard what her theme was it fit right in with a blog I had already started writing so now I get to combine the two into one!

I can’t say I’m surprised at her theme choice, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she is a big fan.

My original idea was to post a short blog about how much Sarah Michelle Gellar, who played Buffy in the TV show, likes to enjoy a beer float, possibly as a celebrity endorsement. My daughter is almost obsessed with Buffy and I wanted to check if she is actually reading my blogs, so posting something about the lead actress having a float would be something she would have to remark on.

Now that her theme and my idea both involve Buffy I had to get this published in time for her special day – Happy Birthday!

While doing my research, to get some ideas and create some art work, I came upon a very surprising story about Ms. Gellar. She refers to how much she likes reading, as does my daughter and far more importantly, she actually does like having a pool float under her while listening to tunes and has posted such on Instagram on a few occasions.
